Our professional, qualified team looks forward to meeting you. We offer an ethical, responsive and attentive service to care for your dermatological and cosmetic needs. Our team is led by Sue Ibrahim, a consultant nurse with more than 30 years’ dermatology experience and our medical centres in Essex and central London are registered with the Care Quality Commission.
With many years’ experience in dermatology, Sue Ibrahim is our medical director. As a nurse consultant in dermatology, Sue understands how certain health and skin problems can make you feel unhappy and self-conscious. She offers a friendly, professional service and is always just a phone call away should you have any questions or concerns following a skin treatment. And if Sue feels that the treatments we offer cannot meet your expectations she will refer you to someone who may be able to help.
Sue works at our main clinic in Rayleigh, Essex and at our clinic in Whitecross Street, Barbican (Central London) every Wednesday and one Saturday a month.
Following her years of experience in the field of dermatology and aesthetic medicine, Sue Ibrahim successfully developed the Elan Medical DermaActive Skincare range. She also runs Elan Medical Academy, that offers training, mentorship and support to nurses and doctors working in medical aesthetics. Sue also worked on the editorial board of The Journal of Aesthetic Nursing until March 2014 and the Safetyinbeauty advisory panel. Sue is a member of The Royal College of Nursing, The British Association of Cosmetic Nurses and The British Dermatology Nursing Group. In July 2016 Sue Ibrahim received a Safety in Beauty Diamond Award.
Amy is an accomplished and experienced aesthetician, proficient in a range of treatments offered at Elan Medical Skin Clinic. As well as performing skin peels, Soprano ICE Laser Hair Removal and Endymed 3Deep Skin Tightening treatments, Amy also assists Sue Ibrahim with some of the advanced treatments offered at Elan Medical Skin Clinic. Amy always has a smile on her face and readily admits that she enjoys every aspect of her work.
We are happy to announce that Amy is now expecting her second child and is currently on Maternity Leave. She is looking forward to coming back to Elan Medical Skin Clinic in 2017.
Terry is responsible for finance, administration and property. ‘He is the backbone of Elan Medical Clinic, enabling the clinical team to exclusively look after our number one concern, our patients. Without him, we would not be able to do our jobs” says Sue.
Carla has worked at Elan Medical Skin Clinic for over ten years. Carla leads the other clinic administration team. Carla enjoys working alongside a lovely team of colleagues and says that she enjoys her job as much today as she did when she first started. The best part of my job is dealing with our lovely patients, who are always so grateful for the service they have received from Elan.
Susan has worked for Elan Medical Skin Clinic since 2008. Susan is our computer guru and is Sue Ibrahim’s personal assistant. As Susan has tried many of the treatments that we offer she constantly tells everyone that she looks younger now than when she started here!
Having qualified as a beauty therapist in 2004, Lisa joined Elan Medical Skin Clinic as a Aesthetic Therapist before leaving to have a family. She has recently re-joined the Elan team as a Clinic Administrator and will be responsible for Patient Services. Lisa is keen to work alongside Sue Ibrahim to enhance the client experience at Elan Medical Skin Clinic. With her attention to detail and quality focused approach, Lisa is looking forward to the challenge of making Elan Medical Skin Clinics the best client focussed clinic in the UK.
